We really enjoyed the experience, alhough it did take us quite a long time. A few of the clues proved beyond us, but we did like walking around the older buildings and looking at them in a different way
Unfortunately, the day we chose it rained the whole time and spoilt the fun. However, we enjoyed the challenge and the walk around the centre of Manchester. It gives you a different perspective of the locations & buildings and opens your eyes to things you had noticed previously in your home city.
Spurious answers. For example, correct answer: sheep - incorrect answer lamb.( Burch website describes carving as ‘lamb of god’ ) Correct answer: monkey: Incorrect answer Ape (at Ape and Apple pub) List not exclusive. Won’t be doing another one.
Great way to spend an afternoon- looking at leader board for this year no-one has done it under 2 hours yet!
Excellent and informative way to spend a couple (well three in our case!) of hours solving the mystery around the streets and sights of Manchester. Don't worry if you get some clues wrong as you get a nother chance at the end to get any missing letters. Enjoy!
Loved getting around and seeing the city. Loved the story line. Found some of the clues impossibly difficult and the answers didn’t always match up (ape question)
The game was good fun. Something different to do and find out some interesting facts. Some of the clues were difficult to work out and some answers were a bit obscure. Overall, we all enjoyed it.
Absolutely loved the idea and enjoyed it immensely but struggled with things at height.
