Commandery of St. John of Montfoort
Montfoort
The Commandery originally consisted of a chapel, a cloister, and the commander’s residence. The residence is no longer standing, but the chapel and the restored cloister have been preserved. The combination of late Gothic architecture and Renaissance elements makes this a striking piece of history right in the heart of Montfoort.
