The Gänseliesel

The Gänseliesel has stood in Göttingen's market square since 1901 and was created by sculptor Ernst Hahne. The statue depicts a girl walking with geese and is surrounded by an attractive fountain. This statue is an important landmark in the city and attracts a lot of attention every day.
