The Fishermen's Bastion

Budapest

The Fisherman's Bastion, located on Castle Hill, is a striking structure that owes its name to the fishermen's guild responsible for defending this side of the city. Built between 1895 and 1902 in neo-romantic style, the bastion has seven towers symbolizing the seven Hungarian tribes. From here, you have a beautiful view of the Danube and the Parliament.

Admire the view

You can also enjoy beautiful sunsets here. The Escape Tour takes you right past the Fisherman's Bastion, where you can admire this view while playing the game and searching for the secret exit.
