The Temple of Olympian Zeus, also known as the Olympieion, is an impressive structure that once had 104 enormous Corinthian columns. Only 15 of these columns remain standing, but they still give an idea of the enormous size and grandeur of the temple. Construction began in the 6th century BC and lasted until the 2nd century AD, making it one of the longest construction projects in history.
