"It's a good way to discover this part of the city but we are missing an historical approach of the monuments or statues. It was also difficult for french people to understand the game, the instructions ... in the given time ! We give up at the end of the second level because of the time and the other projects of the day."

"Enjoyed but questions weren't easy to answer correctly"

"Some of the buildings are under construction or have changed so it was impossible to do the puzzles. Sometimes the answer given weren’t correct. We were pretty disappointed"

"The map feature works well and there are some imaginative questions, although these are sometimes repeated e.g. spot the difference and not all answers were satisfactory. We worked and walked quickly with no breaks but could not complete this in 2 hours."

"We liked the story and the concept but overall we didn't enjoy it. The context is that we were 4 people with our own time constraint (restaurant booked for 2 hours after the start) and it was a very cold day. We didn't do very well which was partly down to us partly due to the game. We do a lot of these type of games and we normally do fairly well at them. A few specific comments. I had expected that we could log in and use 2 phones but we could only log in to 1 which was quite limiting. I'm not sure if this is normal or an error on our part. The technology let us down on several occasions. It seemed to skip over a question/ location a few times. Sometimes we were told if we got it right or wrong with an explanation, sometimes we just got an "OK" message and moved on to the next question without knowing if we got it right or wrong. The straight "wrong answer" format seemed very harsh. It would have been nice to get a 'Try again' option, eg. a few lives to use up before we failed questions immediately or a time penalty for a second try. A straight 'wrong - next question' felt demoralising. I'd prefer the option of having a second chance. A lot of games offer this. I didn't personally like the 'divide one answer by another and multiple by a third one' format. I like maths quizzes but I don't see any value in adding maths to an escape game, especially if your standing in the cold working something out when you have all the individual answers correctly. Why not just type in the individual answers? Similarly why request a coded answer eg. E3 or C1 when we could just type in eg. 'Gandhi'? I don't see the point personally and it doesn't add anything to the experience. You can build in multiple spellings. A couple of the questions seemed to be badly designed eg. the spot the difference one, although it was cleverly done. If I had got all 4 I would have spent ages having to recheck the picture in detail to make sure there weren't 5 which seems unnecessary. We got the Trafalgar square question wrong. You had 6 mermaids but there were only two. There were also two 'mermen' and two children who could have been boy or girl but they were not mermaids. A mermaid is ver specifically a female character. I was strangely annoyed about this, especailly as we'd worked the rest out correctly, even the numerical value of the National Gallery. On that point I don't see why we had to combine answers into a single answer. I meant that if we got 1 out of 4 things wrong we got the whole question wrong which is not a good experience. The silver plaque on the Embankment had been removed or covered up. I'm convinced it wasn't there. There were a few other points but I'll leave it there. I hope these are useful. I do like the phone/location based concept and building a story around it. I think we struggled because we had only one phone, it was cold and we didn't have long to get round. Having said that, we made some basic mistakes which were entirely our fault. It may well have been different in the summer. Good luck with your future games. It's good to have people producing them. They a normally great fun. Thanks, Jeff"

"Great activity for both smaller and larger groups, prompts team working. Good for work team building or having fun in private groups. Entertaining stroll in central London's streets - you'll see a lot of city's landmarks. Assignments are at good level of difficulty (not easy but you can figure out); few tasks are described a bit too vague hence it's more of a guessing rather than figuring out a task. You need a day time and a good weather! Such fun!"

"An enjoyable thing to do whilst in London. We were one clue off finishing in the 4 hrs but we did stop for a drink for 30 mins and to rest our feet (hot day). Would’ve liked to have been able to pause the game but this isn’t an option. Be prepared for some very detailed clues which may take slightly longer than others. "

"We had an amazing time on this central London Escape Tour. We did not want to race but just wanted a fun afternoon. We liked the concept and the questions and although we made a few errors generally got the answers in theory, it was raining for part of our tour so we were not concentrating as much as we should. All our team loved the concept and we will be booking again, HIGHLY RECOMMEND. something different in central London and fun."

"The route is totally unsuitable, so full of tourists that you couldn't move in the Westminster Square and Traflgar Square areas. Meant it was impossible to complete the route in 2 hours, which spoilt the enjoyment of something which was quite well designed. It would be easy in London to find a less busy area - there are many. Also, a smal thing, but can we point out the difference betwen a Mermaid and a Merman in Trafalgar Square....?"

"This is a fun idea and the location was great although I would advise others maybe not to go on a Saturday as it was very busy. We got a lot of clues wrong and normally we are quite good at this sort of thing so whilst of course I accept we may not be as good as we think we are I also think the clues were unclear and confusing at times probably due to poor translation. "Review: Overall it was fun and able to tour around central London, however there were a number of teething issues on locations, hints and answers."

"A complete waste of time. The instruction video was so small, we couldn’t read the instructions so we had no idea what we were supposed to do. Some of the instructions were in Dutch so we had no understanding of it. We have made a complaint "

"Did not finish as the route was constantly blocked by closed roads and police due to marches and protests going on."

"Would be better if the story was written by an English person as it would be more easily understood as my group struggled with a few question as wasn't very clear, overall though, a couple of hours of fun and we would have cracked the 2 hours if not for the problems encountered"

"This ‘Escape Room’ has an intriguing story and guides the player round some key sights in London making it entertaining and enjoyable to play. The designers do need to update a couple of clues, one no longer exists! Others are rather ambiguous and there is no help. Beware that the location has a delay as you move to each landmark! Once it catches up the app works quite well and clues are regular and interesting. We would recommend a play once the current problems are ironed out. "
