Handelsschepen overvallen die onderweg zijn naar het oosten of terugkomen in Europa is waar hij en zijn bemanningsleden goed in zijn. Simon slaat zijn allergrootste slag op een Portugese vloot in het jaar 1611. Alle gestolen spullen neemt hij mee naar Ibiza-stad waar hij alles in zijn winkeltjes verkoopt. Door zijn bekendheid op het eiland kwamen de Portugezen erachter waar Simon zich kon bevinden. Doordat de Nederlandse zeerover getipt werd door de stadhouder had hij net genoeg tijd om te ontsnappen via de geheime uitgang...
